Private Training

The Dayton Dutch Lions FC offers individual technical skill training based on the famous Wiel Coerver drills. These individual training sessions are open to everyone that is interested in improving their soccer skills and will be lead by the experienced and professional coaches from the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy.

Skills can be trained. By doing it a lot and also getting the right feedback on how to execute the drills using not only your legs but your whole body to stay in control off the ball while potentially shielding off from an opponent. How good you can become at it depends on the determination to learn and of course your talent. In the individual sessions we focus on improving your basic skills such as dribbling with your left and right foot, cutting with both feet inside as well as outside while keeping the ball very close, learn new moves, improve passing (both feet, inside and shoelace), shooting but also coordination, agility and conditioning.

Although the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy already has a lot of focus on the development of the technical skills at its team training sessions, we believe that working individually or in small groups (maximum of 4 players) will be very beneficial.

Training can be offered individually, so the coach will work 1 on 1 with the participant, or in groups of 2, 3 or 4 participants. All sessions will have the duration of 60 minutes (1 hour) and will be scheduled according to coaches and participants availability.
