Youth Academy Registration

If you are looking to take your development to the next level then you can attend the Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy and become a Lion!

All coaches are full time and the majority is from Europe with a UEFA C or B license.  The teams practice and play from the beginning of August to the end of May. Also integrated in the Youth Academy are video analysis sessions, individual coach-player evaluations, individual coach-parent evaluations, several workshops (such as nutrition and college prep) and a mentoring program with our USL-PDL and W-League players. To guarantee the quality of the Academy and to provide a broader opportunity to our youth players, the Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy have an exclusive partnership with Dutch Premier League club FC Twente, who’s Academy is considered one of the top in Europe.

Besides quality coaching the Dayton Dutch Lions FC have one of the best training facilities per May 2014. Most of  the practices and home games are held at the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Soccer Complex (one artificial turf field in a 3500 seated stadium and two grass fields) at the West Carrollton High School.

The Youth Academy will place teams and players accordingly for their best development and look to compete in area leagues such as Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League, Miami Valley Youth Soccer League, Midwest Regional League, and the USL Super Y League. The Super Y-League is a nationwide League that runs from May to the beginning of July (6 weeks).


The Dutch Lions FC Academy has three different programs:

  • Premier Academy
  • Development Academy
  • Junior Academy

The official try out period is closed. But you are still welcome to join our academy as long as you are not carded with another select club yet.

    DDL Soccer Complex

    All practices and games of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Men’s team (USL PDL) and Women’s team (USL WPSL) will be at the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Soccer Complex in West Carrollton. The stadium seats 3500 people. In 2014 the Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Dayton Outpatient Center (DOC) installed an new artificial turf field in the stadium. DOC Stadium was opened in May 2014 when former 2x “FIFA Best Player in the World” Ruud Gullit kicked off the game against LA Galaxy II in the USL PRO League.
