Most players moved in their apartments Friday and Saturday morning and then reported for the first 2012 team meeting in the DL Office in Bellbrook.

The pre season lists 6 scrimmages against local colleges before travelling to Charlotte Eagles for the 2012 season opener April 13. The total amount of players that reported the first week is 24, with Dutch former Premier League player Nixon Dias arriving around April 5 from Holland.  The team is scrimmaging every Tuesday and Saturday. On April 3 they play the University of Dayton at Baujan Field at the university campus. The game starts at 8.30pm.

Head Coach Ivar van Dinteren commented on the first week: "I am very pleased with the type of personalities on the team and their effort. We seem to have a really "good group of guys" that are very passionate about the game. The next step is to have them understand the system we want to play and develop them during the season. With a lot of newcomers this will take some time but that's why we have a lot of games during pre season.
