Game preview Pittsburgh Riverhounds – Dayton Dutch Lions FC

Dayton, OH — After picking up it’s first point in the 2012 season away against the Charlotte Eagles the Dayton Dutch Lions FC is seeking to add three more in the game Saturday April 21 against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Pittsburgh currently has three points after playing Antigua away twice in their opening weekend.

Head Coach Ivar van Dinteren has this to say on the upcoming game: “After our tie last Friday I think the boys were satisfied with the result but we know we could have gone home with three points if we would have capitalized on the chances we created. The good thing is that we hardly gave away any chances. But we need to keep the ball longer in our possession and become more dominant in the games to come. I hope we have a good result against Pittsburgh, which will give the team and club a big boost for the home opener the 28th against Rochester Rhinos. I have seen that Pittsburgh has a physical team so we must win the personal duels but mainly try to play our own passing game.”

The Dayton Dutch Lions FC will pay their home opener April 28 against Rochester Rhinos. The game starts at 7.30pm atSpringboroHigh School.
