Groundwork on youth complex started!

The groundwork on the 4 grass fields officially started today with Jack Haag, Rob Dement and Rusty Clifford (West Carrollton High School) together with Erik Tammer, Koen Driessen and Mike Mossel (DDL FC) put the shovels in the ground.

 

The ceremony was the official start of the work that is performed by Jess Construction and resulting in 4 top grass fields ready by August 2012. Besides the representatives of both the WC High School and the DDL FC, all DL youth coaches and office staff were present as well as several sponsor, investors and City representatives. Channel 2 and 7 were there as well as well as the Springboro Newspaper and of course DL TV.

    DDL Soccer Complex

    All practices and games of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Men’s team (USL PDL) and Women’s team (USL W-League) will be at the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Soccer Complex in West Carrollton. The stadium seats 3500 people. In 2014 the Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Dayton Outpatient Center (DOC) installed an new artificial turf field in the stadium. DOC Stadium was opened in May 2014 when former 2x “FIFA Best Player in the World” Ruud Gullit kicked off the game against LA Galaxy II in the USL PRO League.
