The Dayton Dutch Lions FC, Dayton’s professional soccer club, offers summer camps at different locations! A Dutch Lions FC Soccer camps is a great moment to develop more technical skills. Our coaches will give top priority to technical development during the camp. While local youth players are participating in the camp the professional players also might stop by, to give the players a chance to play and get coached by players who are playing professionally.
All trainers are UEFA Licensed coaches or USSF Licensed coaches and have many years of experience coaching at amateur and professional levels all over the world. The Dutch Lions coaches are true teachers of the game. Our camps are instructional camps for the serious soccer player and we separate groups based on age and ability. We keep a low player to trainer ratio to ensure quality training at all times.
Our soccer camps are based on the Dutch Philosophy, which is world famous for the great players it has developed. Players like Wesley Sneijder, Ajen Robben, Robin van Persie are just some examples of the current world class players that came th rough the Dutch Soccer Academies. Technical skill development will get top priority during the camp. We will focus on the development of the following skills:
- Technical fundamentals as boxing and toe taps
- First Touch / Receiving
- Passing
- Moves
- Dribbling
- Shooting
- Finishing
