DAYTON, Ohio -- The Dayton Dutch Lions FC are looking for players for their USL PRO and Super-20 Teams for the 2013 season. The Dayton Dutch Lions FC Men's try-out takes place in the United States on Saturday November 10th at Miami Valley High School in Dayton.
The showcase will be held to scout 15-20 professional players for the USL PRO Men's. Besides that, DDL FC will approach 20-25 outstanding players under the age of 20 for the Super-20 team 2013.
In former seasons DDL FC signed 15 players after a try out. Three players who came to the try out last year got a try out at a MLS club after the season. Matt Williams, Eli Garner (both Columbus Crew) and Gibson Bardsley (Sporting Kansas City) got the chance to show themselves at the highest level after playing in the USL PRO for DDL FC last season.
The Dayton Dutch Lions FC try-out will take place on Saturday November 10th. Through this try-out talented players will be selected for the Dayton Dutch Lions FC's professional men's team that will play the USL PRO in 2013. The Super-20 team is not a pro team, so the conditions are different but the adventure is not any less. It's also a great step for a future pro soccer career.
The showcase will start with a presentation on what to expect in Dayton after making it to one of the teams. Players who are interested in trying out can fill out the online application form on this page. Early registration will also mean that you get a discount on the try-out fee.
The USL PRO Team try-out fee will be $100 if you sign up before November 1st. Registration between November 2nd and November 7th will cost $110, and if you sign up from November 8th until the beginning of the try-out the fee will be $125.
For the Super-20 try-out you will pay $40 before November 1st, $50 between November 2nd and 7th. If you sign up between November 8th until the beginning of the try-out the fee will be $60.
If you are born after 1/1/1993 you are considered a Super-20 player. When you do a try out for the Super-20 you can still make the PRO Men’s team.
After registration attenders will receive more information regarding the try-out.
This is the first try-out for the professional Men's and Super 20 team for the 2013 season, held in the USA. Registration for the try-outs has started!
