Nov 21 european tryouts in the Netherlands

Are you looking for a unforgettable experience in the USA? After three years the Dutch Lions FC had 12 players playing in the USA after coming to the annual tryouts. From pro players Mettin Copier (picture), Bas Ent to Lucien Seymor but also U20 players Donovan Carolus and Gino Verbeek. This year the Dutch Lions FC is looking to pick up more players than before in their tryout that will be held November 21 in Nieuwerkerk ad IJssel.

 

 

The players we are looking for are:

– 10-14 U20 players for Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Texas Dutch Lions FC. The season runs from June 1 to July 20.

– 5-7 PDL amateur players for Texas Dutch Lions FC. The season runs from April 21 to July 14.

– 3-5 USL Pro players for Dayton Dutch Lions FC. The season runs from March 21 to August 20.

 

In case you are selected for the USL-Pro team and you will be offered a professional contract and we will get a working permit (visa).  You will play 24 games and US Open Cup in 5 months, traveling all through the USA (from Los Angeles to Orlando to Charleston.Some games are played in front of 5000-10000 spectators. At home we draw about 800-1200 people per game.

 

 

If you are selected for the PDL team you have to pay for your own travel and you will not receive payment because it is an Amateur League that prohibits teams from paying their players. We will provide a shared apartment and you will get an incredible experience in one of the best PDL Divisions with Austin and Laredo.  You will play up to 16 games in 3 months, which is also the maximum length of your stay.
Furthermore there is the possibility to be a part of our Super 20’s teams in Dayton and Houston. Here you have to pay for your own travel, tourist visa but also expenses like apartment and car. You will play 12 games in 6 weeks. Maximum length of stay is 2 months.

 

If you do well in the PDL or Super 20’s team, you could be rewarded with a professional contract for the remainder of the USL-Pro season.

In case you are interested in showing your talent at the try-out, don’t hesitate and sign up. Participation fee is € 80,- if you pay before November 7, if later, the fee will be € 95,-. The fee includes lunch.

    DDL Soccer Complex

    All practices and games of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Men’s team (USL PDL) and Women’s team (USL W-League) will be at the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Soccer Complex in West Carrollton. The stadium seats 3500 people. In 2014 the Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Dayton Outpatient Center (DOC) installed an new artificial turf field in the stadium. DOC Stadium was opened in May 2014 when former 2x “FIFA Best Player in the World” Ruud Gullit kicked off the game against LA Galaxy II in the USL PRO League.
