DAYTON, Ohio — The Dutch Lions, Dayton’s USL PRO soccer club, is seeking players to fulfill a few of their Youth Academy team’s rosters for the Spring 2013 season. Free tryouts are being held on Saturday, February 16 and Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the turf field of The Miami Valley School located at 5151 Denise Drive, Dayton, OH 45429. Non-carded players and players on permission to talk lists are invited to attend these tryouts.
Players from the following categories are invited to attend at the appropriate session for their age group on one of the two tryout dates:
February 16, 2013
9:00-10:30 a.m. U8, U9 and U10 boys and girls
11:30-1 p.m. U13, U14 and U15 girls
2:00-3:30 p.m. U16, U17 and U18 girls
February 23, 2013
9:00-10:30 a.m. U8, U9 and U10 boys and girls
11:30-1 p.m. U13, U14 and U15 girls
2:00-3:30 p.m. U16, U17 and U18 girls
DDL FC oversees the Dutch Lions Youth Academy, with the goal of developing future professional players using the Dutch youth development philosophy, which stresses an attractive, dominating style of soccer. The Dutch Lions FC program strives to enhance the growth of young men and women on the field, through their tactical and technical development, and off the field through intellectual, moral, social and physical growth.
