DDL to host try-outs for their Men’s Super-20 team

DAYTON, Ohio — The Dayton Dutch Lions FC has announced the 2nd open try out for the 2013 men’s USL Super-20 soccer season. The one day open try out is scheduled for Sunday, March 17th 2013 from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

The one day open try out is scheduled for Sunday, March 17th 2013 from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. The try out is for college players and amateur players seeking an opportunity to play for a professional club. Note: to be able to participate in this league for the 2013 season you have to be born on or after 1/1/1993.

The try out will take place at the complex at Miami Valley School (turf), at 5151 Denise Drive, 45429 Dayton Ohio.

 

The Super-20 league provides the platform for top 17 to 20 year olds in the United States and Canada to compete at the elite level. The league features teams competing in regional divisions consisting of 8-10 regular season matches throughout the summer months (end of May till middle of July). This season’s teams will include clubs as Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew. The USL Super-20 league is the leading avenue for players to progress to the next level.

 

The day starts with player registration and a presentation about DDL’s Super-20 team at 12:15 pm. More information will be sent to players upon registration. A non-refundable registration fee of $40 is required to participate in the trial. Deadline for the March try out is Friday March 15th.
