The Dayton Dutch Lions FC is glad to announce that the Dublin Pub has renewed its sponsorship of the shorts to be worn by the USL PRO and W-League teams during the 2013 seasons.

Koen Driessen, Business Development Manager for the Dutch Lions FC, commented on why it was important for the club to secure sponsorship from the Dublin Pub.  “If we want to make it to the next step, we need the support of local companies, and the Dublin Pub is a perfect example of that.  The reason that this partnership is so strong is that the Dublin Pub has supported us from the beginning.  They have always made us feel welcome and at home from the moment that we arrived in Dayton,” Driessen stated.

When asked why Dublin Pub is sponsoring the Dayton Dutch Lions FC, owner Steve Tieber replied, “Dayton Dutch Lions has invested their professional organization in the city.  Dayton Dutch Lions has brought world-class caliber soccer to our city and an academy for children that has equally established itself as a top-ranked regional academy.  The Dayton Dutch Lions organization is a close rival to the Dayton Dragons in terms of their professional commitment to the community and youth academies in the area.  We looked forward to being a partner with Dayton Dutch Lions from its infancy.  We are excited to see a professional soccer stadium and sports complex in the near future.

In addition to sponsoring the shorts for the men and women’s teams, the Dublin Pub will be showing the live stream of all Dayton Dutch Lions FC away matches.  “We hope to be known as ‘The Official Pub of the Dayton Dutch Lions,’ short sponsor, and the viewing location for all Dayton Dutch Lions games, as well as all other soccer matches worldwide,” announced Tieber.

Driessen concurred, stating that “The Dublin Pub will be the official viewing location for all our away games, providing a gathering spot and special discounts on food and drinks exclusive to Dutch Lions FC fans.”  The Oranje Legion, independent supporter group for the Dutch Lions FC, has already declared that it will be watching the road games at the Dublin Pub.
