Academy Nominees Announced

The Dayton Dutch Lions Youth Academy is excited to announce the nominees for the Academy Awards for the 2013 season. The winners will be announced at the general parent meeting, held on Tuesday the 4th of June at Holliday Elementary School in West Carrollton (4100 S Dixie Drive in Dayton).


The Academy Awards are divided in 3 big groups (6×6, 8×8 and 11×11) and in every group we will be handing out awards for 4 categories:
– Best player
– Joel de Lass award
– Most improved
– Best Goal Keeper


The nominees are:


Best player:

6×6 – Leila Donnerberg, Luke Reed, Gavin Roop, Lindsey Ulring, Luke Weller

8×8 – Veronica Stephens, Trevor Mrocheck, Matthew Oraskovich, Nickolas Szucs

11v11 girls – Gabby Boyer, Julia Poth, Michaela Breur, Carmen Witsken, Kaitlyn Barton

11v11 boys – Dylan Myers,  Tommy Schroyer,  Adam Mcneeley, Micah Peterson

    DDL Soccer Complex

    All practices and games of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Men’s team (USL PDL) and Women’s team (USL W-League) will be at the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Soccer Complex in West Carrollton. The stadium seats 3500 people. In 2014 the Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Dayton Outpatient Center (DOC) installed an new artificial turf field in the stadium. DOC Stadium was opened in May 2014 when former 2x “FIFA Best Player in the World” Ruud Gullit kicked off the game against LA Galaxy II in the USL PRO League.
