The Dayton Dutch Lions (2-3-0) picked up their first W-20 win last week against Alliance Academy Black. The 2-0 victory came after a tough first three games on the road which all resulted in losses. The Dutch Lions followed up the Alliance win with another win at midweek against Division leaders Force Football Academy. Now with six points from five games, Dayton will play Alliance Academy Black once again this Saturday at 7pm at Miami Valley School.

Greaney opened the scoring against Alliance Academy with a stunning first goal, assisted by Sarah Blasiman. Greaney beat her marker one on one and tucked the ball in just underneath the crossbar. Kasey Crow finished the game off with a goal in the second half for Dayton.

Greaney also held the ball up effectively throughout the game to allow the Dutch Lions defense to get forward as a unit. She had four shots - three on target- including her goal. “We created many chances today, and Hanna was one of our main attacking threats. She held the ball up well, and distributed well throughout the entire match,” Dayton Head Coach Marco Reitsma said. “She deserved the goal to reward all of her hard work.”
