Dayton Dutch Lions FC forward elected in top 22 of the League
Gibson Bardsley made the 2nd team of the USL Pro All League 2013. He was elected by the management of all 13 teams as one of the top 22 players. Bardsley had a very successful season scoring 9 goals and 7 assists in 23 games.

USL PRO All-League Teams Announced - League’s top performers selected by team management
TAMPA, Fla. – USL PRO honored the top performers from the 2013 regular season today, naming the All-League First and Second Teams as chosen through a vote of team management.
Orlando City and the Charlotte Eagles, who will meet Saturday night at the Citrus Bowl for the 2013 USL PRO Championship, are both represented on the All-League teams. Orlando City placed three players on the first team, led by forward Dom Dwyer, who shared in the league’s Golden Boot with fellow first-teamer Jose Angulo of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Defender Rob Valentino and midfielder Jamie Watson also represent Orlando City on the first team, while Charlotte midfield star Jorge Herrera earned second-team honors.
The regular-season champion Richmond Kickers lead all teams with four players selected to the All-League teams, with Orlando City, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and the Harrisburg City Islanders next in line with three selections each. The Charleston Battery and Los Angeles Blues each had two players honored, while the Eagles, Dayton Dutch Lions, Rochester Rhinos, Wilmington Hammerheads and VSI Tampa Bay FC had one each.
The finalists for Coach of the Year, Defender of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player will be announced on Wednesday, September 4, with the awards being presented at the USL PRO Championship Media Luncheon on Friday, September 6 in Orlando.
The 2013 USL PRO Championship Game will see the No. 2 seed Orlando City host the No. 5 seed Charlotte Eagles at the Citrus Bowl at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Eagles defeated the regular-season champion Richmond Kickers 2-1 to advance, while Orlando City held off the Charleston Battery, 3-2.
