1st edition of DDL 4v4 great success

On Sunday, November 17th, the Dayton Dutch Lions FC organized the first edition of the DDL 4v4 tournament.

 

Under a very cloudy sky, 32 teams divided in four different age groups, played 4v4 games on the turf field on the Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohio.

 

 

At the end of the day, Technical Manager, Sid van Druenen said "Its great to see these small sided games, it makes the game a lot of fun as there are lot of touches on the ball and lots of scoring opportunities." van Druenen continued "The intention is to organize this 4v4 tournament 2 to 3 times a year and grow it to a fun, well organized and competitive event for the local soccer teams."

 

From U10 to U19, boys and girls, Dayton Dutch Lions FC academy players and players from other clubs from the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, 190 players showcased their soccer skills and made it a very fun day with lots of moves, laughs and goals.

U10B/U10G/U11G - Standard Liege (U10B)

U11B - WHOOP! (U11B)

U12B/U13B/U14G - Maroon 4 (U13B)

U14B/HSB/HSG - Team Liam (HSB)
