Dayton, December 2 2013 - The Dayton Dutch Lions FC is organizing the 2nd edition of the DL CUP on April 12 and 13 2014. In April 2012 the DL CUP was held for the first time with approximately 100 teams. In the 2nd edition you will see some Dutch influences on activities and atmosphere. These things include:
- A central plaza with a stage, DJ, vendors and several activities
- Free tickets to the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Men’s Pro team home opener on Friday April 11
- Shooting Board contest
- Visit of the DDL FC Men’s Pro team on Saturday with a photo and autograph session
- A DJ providing entertainment both days
- A large stage for the DL CUP Awards Ceremony (all teams receive awards)
- Leo the Lion
- The Amazing Sunday show: the “Juggling King” from Holland!
Besides a lot of good soccer games the tournament provides a lot of fun things in a great atmosphere, which is different from most tournaments you have been to!
Fees
The participation fees (including free tickets for the players to the Men’s Pro game) for the DL Cup are:
- U8-U9 - $425
- U10 (6v6) - $475
- U10 (8v8)-U11-U12 - $500
- U13-U14 - $525
- U15-U19 - $550
Location
The games will be played at two locations (11 fields): West Carrollton Soccer Complex and West Carrollton High School. In close proximity you will find several hotels as well as the Dayton Mall and “the Greene”.
