The Dayton Dutch Lions FC were nominated for 7 Awards and ended up taking one of the most prestigious awards back to Dayton: the 2013 USL Organization of the Year Award for the W-League, the 2nd highest level in US Soccer. The Lions were also awarded the Fair Play Award for the 2013 season.  Sid van Druenen, Koen Driessen and Mike Mossel received the Award in front of all the USL teams.

Technical Manager Sid van Druenen commented on the Award: "This is a great award for our club and our women's program. To make a program within a club successful we have to perform on and of the field at all times and winning this award is, for me, the best possible recognition we can get from the USL that we are doing things right. It is a team effort and it will raise the bar and expectations for 2014."
