DAYTON, OH – March 1, 2014 – The Dayton Dutch Lions FC (USL W-League) are proud to announce the return of defender Alexandra Warren.

The Former Lehigh University defender  appeared in all 10 games in 2013, recording an assist.

“We are delighted to have Alex back for 2014,” Dayton Dutch Lions head coach Gavin   MacLeod remarked.  “She was an integral part of last season’s team and, coupling that experience with her natural leadership and work ethic, I expect her to have a major impact for us this year.”

Warren was named to the USL W-League Team of the Week on two occassions with one being an honorable mention selection.

“I am really excited to come back with the Dayton Dutch Lions,” Warren stated.  “We made some great strides last season but after it ended, I felt we had some unfinished business and so this year I wanted to return to help get this team to the W-League Championships.”
