DL CUP Great Success

Dayton, OH, April 15 2014 - This past weekend, April 12th and 13th, the Dayton Dutch Lions FC organized the Dutch Lions CUP, a youth tournament for all ages spread over 2 days between the West Carrollton soccer complex and the Dayton Dutch Lions youth complex, located at the West Carrollton High School.

 

A event that gathered over 150 teams from all over the state of Ohio and some even from further. Besides the games there were multiple vendors on site, a DJ, a shooting board and the Juggling King Stefan Molendijk entertaining the participants with lots of tricks.

 

All finalists and winners got individual trophies and all participants got bag tags and free access to the game of the Men's professional team on Friday night.

 

"It was a great event with a lot of good level soccer, great weather and lots of entertainment" said the club's Technical Manager and Head Coach Sid van Druenen, "Seeing over 7000 people come by West Carrollton in the last weekend is great for our community and club. We are looking forward to keep growing this tournament and organize the next edition of the Dutch Lions CUP".
