Crucial match against Harrisburg City Islanders

DAYTON, OH, April 18 2014 - The Dayton Dutch Lions (1-1-1) will travel to Harrisburg (0-0-1) for their fourth game of the 2014 USL PRO season. Kick-off is set for 7.00pm on Saturday the 19th of April. If the Dayton Dutch Lions can win, they will go to the top three of the league. But when they lose it will be a though season for the Lions.

After a 94th minute equalizer goal from Joe Broekhuizen, that earned Dayton a tie last weekend against Rochester at the 2014 home opener, Dayton now travels to Harrisburg and will be looking for a better level of play.

“We took some risk last weekend and got a very late goal to earn one point but neither me nor the players where happy with the level of play”, said Head Coach Sid van Druenen. “This weekend we will be looking to play a better game showing the fans what they expect from us and the goal is to bring the 3 points back to Dayton”.

The Harrisburg City Islanders will play only their second game of the season and will be looking for the first win after a tie against Willmington in their first game of the 2014 season.

“We expect a well organized and strong Harrisburg, hungry to get the home win but our goals are set and the guys know what is expected from them out of this trip”, continued coach van Druenen.

This game can be seen live via live stream on the City Islanders Youtube page. After this trip the Dayton Dutch Lions FC return home at Beavercreek High School to face the Richmond Kickers on April 26th at 7.00pm.
