The Dayton Dutch Lions FC W-League team would like to invite everyone interested in being part of the 2014 roster to attend the final tryout on May 12th from 12.30pm to 3pm.

Formed in 2010, the Dayton Dutch Lions FC’s women’s team competes in the USL W-League, the highest amateur league in the U.S.A. for female soccer players. After a successful 2013 season where the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Women’s team reached the championship playoffs, the club wants to build on that success and playoffs are the goal again for this season.

The W-League season is played during the months of May, June and July and is an ideal platform for college and high school players to play in a competitive environment during the summer. The Dayton Dutch Lions FC Women compete in the Southeastern Conference together with Carolina Cobras, Charlotte Eagles, Atlanta Silverbacks and the Gulf Coast Texans.

This tryout will be the last open try out for the 2014 Women’s season. It will be held on Monday, May 12th, 2014.

As in previous years the Dayton Dutch Lions FC’s coaching staff sees the open try out as a great opportunity for players to show off their skills and play for a spot on the 2014 women’s team roster. Training in a professional environment and playing games in Atlanta, North and South Carolina and Florida is what players can expect.
