DDL FC take on Harrisburg City Islanders

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Dutch Lions FC (5-14-2, 17 points) is facing the Harrisburg City Islanders (6-8-6, 24 points) again this Saturday August 2 at 7.00pm at DOC Stadium. It is the fourth game between the two teams this year with the Lions winning one and Harrisburg winning two.

The Lions will be led by Assistant Coaches Jack Hermans and Catherine Gordon, after Head Coach Sid van Druenen stepped down Thursday moving his attention to the Youth Academy and his role as Technical Manager. Interim Head Coach Hermans, who has been with the club since day 1 and is known for his attacking style and high scoring games throughout his career, had this to say on the upcoming game: "It has been a hard week since we - Sid, Catherine and myself - have worked together closely since February. But we have to move on and we had some good practices so I am looking very much forward to a game that will have a lot of passion, excitement for the fans and hopefully our 1st home victory."
