Dayton, August 25, 2014 - The Dayton Dutch Lions are pleased to announce that Sebastien Thuriere has been selected to attend a ten day camp and compete in an upcoming match for the Hatian National Team.
Thuriere is a talented midfielder for the Lions and had this to say about the news of the selection. “Being called up to the Haitian National team is a lifelong dream and opportunity that I have always wanted. I look forward to making the best of the 10 day camp and the friendly game vs Chile. This is my first time with the Haitian National team, and I am honored just to be able to have a chance to possibly represent Haiti in the future as they prepare for the Caribbean Cup. Haiti has a lot of good players and I am looking forward to this experience to keep learning and advancing my career as a professional soccer player.”
Throughout the season Thuriere has been a great asset to the team and always brings an incredible energy to every match he competes in. He will compete in the Lions match against Orlando this weekend, and then Leave on September 1st for Haiti for the ten day camp and friendly match against Chile. The Dutch Lions as an organization are proud of Thuriere, and wish him the best of luck in his time in Haiti.
