Dayton, September 4, 2014 - The Dayton Dutch Lions FC will host the Wilmington Hammerheads in their final game of the season tomorrow night. Wilmington (8-7-11, 35 points) sits in sixth place in the league in total points, while the Lions (6-17-4, 28 points) have been very successful on the road (6-6-2) and want to finish their season with a victory. Wilmington is looking to gain some much needed momentum entering the playoffs after this match.

The Dayton Dutch Lions FC have shown some amazing improvements in every category of the game and team after bringing on new coach Matt Weston. Weston had this to say about the final game for his team this season. “The squad is looking forward to returning home. After 4 consistent performances in August the Orlando trip was a bad day at the office & one to quickly forget. We have to return to the basics which got us some positive results and look to end the season on a high. We have the return of club captain Brock Granger who will add much needed composure in the middle of the park as well as Jeshua Cryuff who has missed our last 3 games. This game is important for the club and our home supporters and finishing with a positive result is what we're working towards each and every day on the training ground. I can't fault the players effort. Translating this into 3 points is what we now need.”

The Lions match will be at DOC stadium at West Carrollton High School tomorrow at 7 PM. The Lions encourage everyone to come out for their season finale and see the Lions end the season in style.
