Chris Froschauer selected in MLS Superdaft

Dayton, Ohio – Goalkeeper, Chris Froschauer, who played for the Dayton Dutch Lions FC PDL team during the 2015 season, has been drafted by the Colorado Rapids with the second pick, in the third roundBT9A4938-16.

Froschauer, from Union, KY represented the Ohio State Buckeyes during his senior year in college and finished the season as Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year, First Team All-Big Ten and First Team NSCAA All Midwest.

The Dayton Dutch Lions would like to congratulate Chris with the Superdraft selection and wish him the best of luck with the opportunity at the Colorado Rapids.

    All practices and games of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Men’s team (USL PDL) and Women’s team (USL WPSL) will be at the Dayton Dutch Lions FC Soccer Complex in West Carrollton. The stadium seats 3500 people. In 2014 the Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Dayton Outpatient Center (DOC) installed an new artificial turf field in the stadium. DOC Stadium was opened in May 2014 when former 2x “FIFA Best Player in the World” Ruud Gullit kicked off the game against LA Galaxy II in the USL PRO League.
