The Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Nike have agreed on a multi-year partnership extension that will continue to provide the DDL FC youth athletes, Men’s and Women’s teams and coaches with the necessary tools to help compete at the next level.
“Nike is a recognized international leader in sports and we are honored to be able to work closely with such a strong game-changing brand, “said DDL FC General Manager Koen Driessen. “We are proud to wear the Nike swoosh and to be a part of the Nike soccer family. This partnership allows us an opportunity to wear quality gear as we continue to improve our soccer programs.”
The partnership features various components over a two-year period, such as Nike’s support for the DDL FC youth academy with new uniforms and coaching apparel, new kits for the Men’s team participating in the Premier Development League and new kits for the Women’s team participating in the Women’s Premier Soccer League. In addition, Nike will provide graphic displays to support club programs, tournaments and operations at the home soccer facility, the DOC stadium on the campus of West Carrollton High School.
The home kit will be featured at the opening Men’s match, Saturday, May 21st versus the Cincinnati Dutch Lions at 7:30 pm. Sales for the 2016 Nike kit will be launched online in mid-May and at all 2016 home games.
