The 8 game schedule is highlighted by home and away matches with local Ohio teams Cincinnati Sirens and Columbus Eagles. The Lions will also face Fire and Ice Soccer Club from Illinois and FC Pride from Indiana.
Prices for single-match tickets are $5 for youth and $8 for adult, with opportunities for “Orange Family Four” single ticket purchase that includes admission and meal for 2 adults and 2 youth.
Season Ticket memberships are available for $24 and offer full season members the lowest pricing, game day meal and admission to all DDL women’s season matches. In addition, they will receive exclusive special events and other privileges announced throughout the season.
After 5 seasons in the USL W-League, this will be the Lions first season in the WPSL, which has a history dating back for 18 years. The WPSL has provided a major development platform for future professional players. The league has helped top-players rise to the professional ranks. Among the WPSL’s alumni are U.S. Women’s National Team stars Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and recently retired Abby Wambach.
DDL Head Coach Ian Richardson shares, “I am excited for our upcoming season as the WPSL is a perfect fit for our players that want to train and compete at a high level during the summer.”
