2017 Euro Legacy Tour…….Part One

The U17 Boys squad have arrived and kicked off the first annual DDL FC Legacy Tour.  Eighteen players, nine parents and two coaches arrived in Amsterdam Sunday morning, April 9th for 10 days of soccer, sightseeing and team fun.

The team was greeted by club founder, Mike Mossel and assistant Emily van der Werff.  The team motorbus took the group to the Sporthotel Bruurs in Baarle-Nassau to get checked in and refreshed.  A short walk into the center of town allowed everyone to stretch their legs and enjoy a nice lunch.

In the afternoon, the team left and headed to Eindhoven to watch the Dutch Premier league match between third place PSV and Willem II.  The game atmosphere was awesome as the 35,000 plus sold-out stadium was rockin' to a 5-0 win.

The team was taken home in a "Party Bus" with the tunes blasting and Coach Bruno showing off his dance moves.

A very tasty pasta dinner awaited us at the hotel.  Soon after, the group was off to bed for some well deserved sleep.

A great first day in the Netherlands...........
