GAME DAY PREVIEW – LADY LIONS HOME VS FC PRIDE

GAME DAY PREVIEW – LADY LIONS HOME VS FC PRIDE

The Dayton Dutch Lady Lions (2-2-0) return to DOC Stadium Saturday, June 17th at 7 PM. The Dutch Lions currently sit in second place in the Valley division of the WPSL with six points from their first four games. Today’s opponent will be FC Pride who is based out of Indianapolis. Pride FC (0-2-0) is coming off a 3-0 defeat to Fire & Ice SC and have yet to get themselves moving in the right direction.

The Lions have enjoyed a much needed rest without any matches this week after playing on Friday and Saturday last week. The roster was decimated with injuries and players unavailable which led to numerous players logging a lot of minutes without substitutions. Injuries and fatigue should be something the Dutch Lions will not have to face on Saturday, putting them in a strong position to add another three points to their Valley division standings and back-to-back wins for the first time this year.

The Lions have been led offensively by Macy Hamblin (Northern Kentucky University/USA) as she scored a brace versus the Columbus Eagles last week. She will continue to lead the attack for the Dutch Lions with strong support from Natalie Sedlock, Jordan Foster and Sidney Leroy.

Come join us for a fun night of quality soccer at DOC Stadium on the campus of West Carrollton HS.

Tickets:  Adults: $8
Youth (ages 6-18): $5
Children under the age of 5 are free admission to all Dayton Dutch Lions FC home games.
