On Monday, July 10th, the Dayton Dutch Lions Men’s PDL team plays their second to last home game of the season. It will be Part 3 of the matchup between Ohio’s two Dutch Lions teams, as the Cincinnati Dutch Lions return to DOC Stadium. Both teams have hosted a game, leaving one final matchup to secure bragging rights throughout the offseason.
Both teams have hosted a game, leaving one final matchup to secure bragging rights throughout the offseason. CDL took the first game at DOC Stadium, while the second game at Northern Kentucky University resulted in a scoreless tie. Each side had multiple chances in the most recent matchup, but neither squad was able to find the back of the net. The familiarity between the two Dutch Lions squads has produced highly competitive games in the past, and this upcoming match should be no different. This contest will also go a long way in determining the final standings in the PDL Great Lakes Division. Cincinnati (5-5-2) currently sits in third place with 17 points, while Dayton (4-5-2) remains within striking distance at 14 points. A home win for DDL would allow them to pull even with Cincinnati with only two games remaining on the schedule.
Tickets will also be available at the gate ~ $8 Adults and $5 Youth (ages 6-18), Seniors, and Veterans. Children 5 and under are always free to Lions home games. For discounted group rates of 12 or more, please contact Ric Campbell at 937-902-9414.
