DAYTON, OH — The Dayton Dutch Lions FC has announced its 2018 Premier Development League schedule, which will begin on Friday, May 18 and includes matches against the five teams in the Great Lakes Division.

The schedule has the Lions playing the Michigan Bucks, Cincinnati Dutch Lions, Derby City Rovers and newcomer Lansing United three times each this season.  They will play the West Virginia Chaos twice to round out the 14-game schedule.

DDL FC will host the West Virginia Chaos (May 18) on opening day at DOC Stadium on the campus of West Carrollton High School for YOUTH Soccer Night.  Youth players wearing their game jersey will receive free admission.

The team will visit the three-time PDL champions, Michigan Bucks (May 23) at Ultimate Soccer Arena and close out the month of May with the Derby City Rovers (May 25) making the first of two trips to the DOC.

The club will kick-off the summer on the road at Schoenbaum Stadium against WV Chaos (Jun. 1).  A pair of home contests against the Rovers (Jun. 3) and Lansing United (Jun. 9) will be followed by a second visit to the Bucks (Jun. 13) and our debut at East Lansing Soccer Complex versus United (Jun. 16).

We welcome our fellow Dutch Lions team from Cincinnati when they visit the DOC on Saturday, June 23.

A Wednesday affair and final match against the Rovers (Jun. 27) at King Louie’s Soccer Complex will be followed by the defending Great Lakes conference champions visit to the DOC, Michigan Bucks (Jun. 30).  This match will be the culmination of a full day of soccer activities as the DDL FC will be hosting a soccer festival for all ages.

July begins with back-to-back visits to NKU Stadium to face the Cincinnati Dutch Lions (Jul. 3 and Jul.13) ten days apart.

Fan Appreciation Day is slated for the last regular season match when Lansing United (Jul. 15) make their second trip to Dayton.
