The Dayton Dutch Lions FC is proud to announce the hiring of Daniel Dos Santos to the Academy coaching staff. Daniel brings a tremendous amount of playing experience as his soccer career has seen him called up for the Swiss National Team U15, U16 & U17. He is currently a junior at the University of Dayton having started 31 of the 37 matches he has played.
Dos Santos was born in Portugal and had successful tryouts with Sporting Club and SL Benfica. He was part of the U17 SL Benfica team that won the 2012-13 National League title. He also has played several years in the Switzerland 3rd division.
Daniel will be the head trainer for our U14 Boys team. He is currently working on his USSF licensing certificates. His passion to teach the game is exciting to watch as he loves sharing his experiences with the players. He is very mature for his age and will be a strong supporter of our boys.
