IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

As most people know, one of the major assets of the Dayton Dutch Lions has been the ability to bring in highly licensed coaches from Europe to train the "Dutch" style of play within the Miami Valley. The current administration's visa process has changed greatly over the past 12 months and it has negatively impacted us considerably.

After much expense and effort, we have not been able to secure these coaches for the upcoming spring season. This uncertainty has led to many questions and some families leaving the club because of the uncertainty.

Thus, with much displeasure we announce that we will not be providing U15 to U19 teams for the 2019 spring. We do apologize that we could not move forward as originally planned last summer. We are very disappointed in this development.

For those families that have already paid fees for the spring, we will be refunding those funds as soon as possible. Individual emails will follow next week with a summary of funds received and refund being processed.

Though, this is a step back for our academy at this time, it is needed as we currently cannot provide the level of training that these teams have received in the past and is the standard for our club. We will continue to have teams for our younger ages (U9-U14) and will be working to add the older ages in the days ahead.
