The Lady Dutch Lions wrapped up their 2023 WPSL season. The season was a story of improvement and development for the Dutch Lions, as they finished 0-7-1.
The top scorers for the Dutch Lions were Carley Groh and Addie Erslan, each netting two goals this season, with Erslan notably scoring twice and getting an assist in a 3-3 tie with FC Spirit in mid-June. That 3-3 tie against FC Spirit was a true testament to the Dutch Lions’ improvement, as they fought hard in front of home fans, notching their first multi-goal performance of the season.
The team will hope to build upon lessons learned from this season before returning next summer looking to conquer the WPSL.
