The Dayton Dutch Lions are currently looking for motivated individuals to fill our game day position needs.
The Dutch Lions are sponsoring PDL and W League teams this summer and need position filled for each home game. Positions are open to both children and adults. The list of home games and positions is below. For our three doubleheaders, we are looking for individuals to work both games. If you are interested in any positions please read the below job descriptions and complete the following form.
Job Descriptions
Ticket Sellers
- Preferred to have same individual for every game
- Will report to Ticket Manager
- Responsibilities include handling cash, checking ID’s, assisting in reconciliation and handling customers
- Position will be on volunteer
Ticket Takers (2)
- Preferably could work every game
- Will report to Ticket Seller and Ticket Manager
- Responsibilities include checking tickets, counting attendance, and stamping hands for re-entry
- Positions will be volunteers
Concession and Merchandise Assistant
- Preferably could work every game
- Will report to Concession and Merchandise Manager
- Responsibilities include handling cash, assisting in reconciling cash flows, and handling customers
- Position will be volunteer
Concession Runner
- Preferably could work every game
- Will report to Concession and Merchandise Manager
- Responsibilities include handling cash, carrying crates of drinks in the stands, and handling customers
- Must be able to carry 35 pounds
- Looking for an outgoing, motivated individual who is interested in sales
- Position will be volunteer with commission on sales
Ball Kids (6-10)
- Preferably could work every game
- Will report to Operations Coordinator
- Must be at least 11 years old
- Will be stationed around the field to retrieve balls out of play and give new balls to players
- Looking for attentive individuals for the entire match
- Position will be volunteer with an incentive program for working a certain amount of games
*Please note that for double headers on June 6th, June 20th, and July 11th, we would like individuals to work both games.
